Our Long Bracket Baker valve gear is supplied ready to run and sold as a pair.
This is the same Baker valve gear we use on the locomotives we build in house, now offered ready to run for builders working on their own custom locomotives.
Each assembly features:
- Bronze cast brackets
- Hardened steel pins
- Levers made from investment-cast or machined stainless steel
- Bronze-impregnated Oilite bushings
Proven in service, some of these valve gear assemblies have operated weekly for more than 20 years without a rebuild.
